Hello everyone!
As many of you know, I'm currently in treatment for recurrent ovarian clear cell cancer. I created this page as an easy way to share updates and give friends, family, and others a place to support me if they’d like to.
Support helps with the everyday costs that come with treatment, including medical expenses, transportation, groceries, housing, and time away from work.
I appreciate you being here and being part of my support system.
Exciting news!
I got a cat!
Please welcome Seerah 🩵🩶🩷!
Medical Updates
I’ll use this section to share updates about my treatment, scans, appointments, and any major changes along the way. I’ll keep it as current as I can so friends and family can check here instead of having to ask individually.
I’m participating in a Phase 1 CAR-T clinical trial at City of Hope that targets a protein called TAG-72, which can be found on some ovarian cancer cells. The treatment uses my own T cells, which are modified in a lab to recognize and attack cells carrying that target. Because this is an early-phase trial, the main goals are to study safety, dosing, and how the treatment behaves in the body, while also looking for signs that it may help control the cancer.

I had a biopsy done 2 weeks ago, still waiting on results.
No updates for Clinical Trial yet.
October 2026
Treatment schedule: Immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks + daily chemo pill.
Car-T trail is no longer pending! However, we need to test if I have "enough" disease for the trial.
Biopsy on lymph nodes in pelvis scheduled end of October. If there is enough disease then we will proceed to the next steps of the trial.
September 2026
Treatment schedule: Immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks + daily chemo pill.
I had emergency surgery to remove the peritoneum port because it didn't heal properly. I am now waiting to get scheduled for another port installation surgery in November.
Scans showed overall stable disease with minimal growth.
Car-T trial is still pending.
August 2026
I resumed immunotherapy with Keytruda and Avastin, along with a daily chemotherapy pill as we wait out continued delays with my second CAR-T infusion.
Scans showed overall stable disease with minimal growth.
March–July 2026
I was completely off treatment during this period while waiting for the next phase of the CAR-T trial.
My cancer remained overall stable with minimal growth.
January–February 2026
I paused my standard second-line treatment to participate in the CAR-T tag 72 clinical trial.
I had several attempts to install the necessary peritoneum port, which required major invasive surgery. I underwent apherisis and 2 weeks later I received a mini chemo plus my first infusion of CAR-T cells and stayed in the hospital for three weeks for treatment and monitoring.
Following the infusion, my cancer stabilized.
October–December 2025
Recurrence was diagnosed in my lymph nodes. My family and I explore second opinions in California, Texas, and Massachusetts. We decided to stay in California and become a patient at City of Hope in Duarte, CA in order to enroll in the Car-T Tag 72 Clinical trial. I began standard second-line treatment with Keytruda + Avastin infusions every three weeks and a daily chemotherapy pill while waiting for the clinical trial to start.
My cancer shrank during this treatment.
January - March 2025
I did 6 rounds of Platinum based chemotherapy and had no detectable cancer.
August 2024
I was diagnosed with Ovarian Clear Cell Carcinoma stage 2 A. A tumor was located in my left ovary and I had surgery to remove my left ovary and fallopian tube.
Ways to Support
A lot of people have asked how they can help, so I wanted to make one simple place for that. Support can look like a lot of things like helping with everyday expenses, sharing this page, checking in, or just staying connected while I’m in treatment. You are always welcome to spam me on Instagram @a.more.me :P
If you do choose to contribute financially, it helps take some pressure off things like medical costs, transportation, groceries, housing, and time I’m not able to work. I’m grateful for any support, in whatever form it comes.
I want to say thank you to the friends who have supported already! I have been able to purchase a new pair of glasses! Hooray!
*Financial contributions are personal gifts and are NOT tax-deductible charitable donations.*
